About Me
This is a short description about me for everybody who might be wondering who the brave cook actually is. My name is Lukasz Adam Klisch. I was born in Poland in 1982 and my family moved in the late 80′s to Berlin, Germany. I grew up in Berlin and after finishing school I graduated as an foreign-language correspondent with English as my main foreign language. I have never worked as a correspondent or translator but I have never forgotten my english language skills thanks to my partner Mithun who I met in 2009. Since he speaks no german at all I am forced to have conversations with him only in english.
Besides my interest in languages I always loved fashion and I started very early to draw sketches and designs. I also bought a sewing machine and started to teach myself the basics of sewing and pattern-making. I also love to indulge in nature and to experience the green places in Berlin. That is how I got around making photographs of nature and food.
This Blog is inspired by my partner Mithun. He is my personal teacher and my muse. In a way this blog is a present or gesture from me to him.
This is my first blog ever and I hope it will be successful. I will put my heart into it so that you can enjoy it!

Thank you for stopping by my blog, and the “Like” of my post.
Don’t despair. Cooking is easy compared with clothes or anything with a long lasting end product. Make a mess of a meal for your friends, who cares? They’re your friends
I’m pleased you like my stuff. And some of the recipes do work. I can’t guarantee it, but hey, you know
Thanks for your visit! We love to cook, too! Check out my food posts on Raising Mina; you might find a new recipe or two (links to online recipes are provided in photo details when available)! HAPPY COOKING!!
Thanks for stopping by my own new blog, and thus leading me to take a look at yours. What a beautiful layout, bound to stimulate the appetite of your readers!
Thanks a lot, my blog is about learning how to cook, hope I can improve and post some nice recipes! I also just got started with my blog some weeks ago!
Thanks for visiting my blog and wishing you many many wonderful times in the kitchen! it’s all about ‘love’, whether it’s cooking or sewing or relationships ….
I’ve come to learn that whether you are cooking for four or forty, you can make it an awesome adventure. Good music, great ingredients and awesome company helps you produce meals that are deliciously seasoned with love. Thanks for the like on my blog. Happy cooking!
Thank you for stopping by my blog

Éva

So many mututal interests, cooking etc. of course, interior design (used to have my own small company in UK, fashion (was involved in the fashion scene in Berlin long ago, and now eldest daughter is studying to become fashion designer. she too will be interested in your blog and I am sending her the link. So we both will be followers of your from today. Thanks for coming onto my site.
Hi Carina, thank you so much for visiting and for your compliment on my blog! I’m truly surprised and impressed about your interests and your life career. It is true, Berlin is indeed a fashion city and my dream is to become good enough to create my own pieces that are worth to be shown. I spent most of my life in Berlin, but one more dream is to leave for another country and to experience new things. This blog is just a little hobby of mine, but it’s a great opportunity to share with the world and to meet interesting people like you.
Hi, Lukasz–After you stopped by our blog I thought I’d check out yours. You obviously know your way around a camera. I enjoyed looking at all the pastoral Berlin shots as well as the food. A friend and fellow food writer described starting a food blog as letting a dragon into your house–you always feel as though someone is breathing fire down your back. Good luck with your dragon. Ken
Hi Ken, thanks so much for your visit and for enjoying my Berlin pics! I almost feel ashamed about your compliments, because my camera is not really special and compared to your blog and your photographs my blog is more a little hobby than something professional. However, I like the comparison with the dragon and I’m happy I let a “little” dragon inside my house! I admire your photographs and the delicious recipes on your blog. A lot of joy and happiness with continuing your blog in such a great way!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my post on how to prepare butternut squash. My website is set up for the novice cook with step-by-step directions on everything I make. If you like butternut squash, I just posted a fabulous butternut squash-bartlett pear soup recipe I think you will love. It is so good. BTW, I love the plates on your home page. They are really lovely.
Hi Lucasz, what a beautiful blog, and what a loving tribute to your partner. I love the way you style your pictures, and I’m really looking forward to reading more. And your english is fantastic!!! Much love to you from Nicole in Australia xx

Hi Lukasz, first of all greetings to Berlin and thank you for the like on my page at http://www.midihideaways.wordpress.com . I very much like your recipe for the physalis salsa, will head off to the garden in a moment to see if there are any ripe! Keep writing and thanks for being out there!
Hi Lukasz, thanks for stopping by and checking out my modest little blog. I too just started blogging not too long ago. I look forward to keeping up with you in your journey in cooking. I love your photos of Berlin, makes me miss it so much! I spent a few years there in the 80′s and have never forgotten the wonderful time I had there, the beauty of the city has always astounded me.
